Do the student get paddled in the schools in Iceland when they are in serious trouble? Some school districts in Arkansas still believe in this type of discipline (and they are the better districts) and some districts will not even consider this due to law suits.
I'm an american but have been living in europe and Iceland the last 8 years. Its been my experience that people are generally very shocked when I tell them I was paddled in school as a child. I didnt actually know that still went on...
