Hi, most of the schools starts around 22 of August and runs till 10th June. So they have around 2 1/2 month break. We also have almost 2 weeks holiday at Christmas and Easter. School hour for 10 year old are from 8:15 - 14:20, 5 days a week but may vary from school to school.
We have to teach lesson that go hand in hand with what we call curriculum frameworks and it is there to help teachers across the state to teach along the same line. It helps keep teacher on track with all schools in the state. htt://arkedu.state.ar.us/curriculum/curriculum_framework.html

Do the schools in iceland have some kind of framework that all art teachers have to follow along with?
